Blessing of the animals

On January 25, our La Cruz community gathered for a special Blessing of the Animals. We prayed over and blessed the pets who were with us, and we also shared a quiet moment of tribute and remembrance for the animals we’ve loved and lost.

We believe all of creation belongs to God and is cared for by Him—including the animals who bring comfort, joy, and companionship into our lives.

“The righteous care for the needs of their animals…” — Proverbs 12:10

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this such a meaningful time. We plan to hold another Blessing of the Animals in about a month—stay tuned for the next date.
