While we did not lose our property, the Palisades fire still changed our community overnight. We’ve felt the impact as friends and neighbors relocated and families were forced into hard decisions, and our hearts remain heavy for those who lost homes—and especially for the life that was lost. In moments like this, “normal” disappears fast, and people need more than updates and logistics; they need steady presence, prayer, and a place to breathe.
 

In response, we’re committed to showing up with both spiritual support and practical relief—creating space for people to reconnect with God, with one another, and with hope, while also helping point neighbors toward real resources and next steps. We will continue meeting at the American Legion in Pacific Palisades, which was thankfully not significantly affected by the fire. We gathered there before, and now—as the town begins rebuilding and families start returning—we’re grateful to be back at the Legion on Sundays, ready to stand with our community and move forward together.
